I remember a large-ish famous female comedian came to be the guest one morning, and her "people" had asked for an elaborate breakfast for her, which we ordered from The Kenmore Deli. It included bagels, cream cheese, and a smoked fish platter. However, her people had specified that the smoked fish MUST be on a fish-shaped platter. When she came into the prod studio and discovered that the fish was on a regular, round platter, she FLIPPED and started screaming and threatened to walk out. Somehow she was placated, and I remember eating the round-platter-tainted smoked fish with Marcia Masters and marveling at the fussiness of some celebrities.
