I remember Bradley Jay asking me if I had any anecdotes at the first quasi get together at The Cask & Flagon last month. Four years of working there ('82-'86) and I was speechless. How sad is that? I enjoyed being there so much I made it my business not to get on the wrong side of Oedipus, Tony, Charles, Mark, Ken, Carter, Chaci or Tank for years. Only now, nearly 28 years later, do I realize my strategy rendered me invisible. Mark Parenteau posted a ton of old photos from his career on Facebook awhile back and though I worked for him for four years he was hard pressed to find five photos of me. I don't even think he recognized me at the party when I shook his hand! Still, I got to work with some of the greatest talent Boston ever had and even though they all have a hard time placing me when I see them I don't regret any of the time I spent there. What a fantastic experience...blimp rides, coast guard cutters, celebrity softball games, Rock & Roll Rumbles, all the great people...Love Live The Rock...
