I worked mostly in the newsroom, gathering stories and sound for Dinah Vaprin or whomever else was doing news on The Big Mattress. I also had a segment (created by Mat Schafer and I) called Henry in the Hub.

My other job was to wake up Billy West before Charles arrived. This was not an easy (or fun) thing to do. Billy often slept on the couch in the lobby of 'BCN. I would take the almost empty bottle of Jack Daniels from him, and walk him to the men's room so he could freshen up. He didn't smell to good. Along the way I would tell him what was happening in the news that day. When Billy finally emerged from the men's room, he'd have a whole bunch of new jokes and parody songs that fit that days news. It was nothing short of amazing and to this day I have no idea how he did it. Then it was off to production to produce them.
