I remember the time Tommy Couch and I got a listener's tix to SNL in NYC at the last minute. We went, it was awesome (John Belushi was still alive, Kate Bush was the musical guest). We didn't have hotel reservations (kids) and Eddie Gorodetsky had told us "Stay at the President". So it's 2am in Manhattan, we said screw it, The President it is. Seediest place ever. We get back and I asked Eddie "Why The freakin' President? What a dump!" and he replied "Oh. Buddy of mine saw a murder there once." Good times, great oldies.
